Infiniti’s Certified Pre-Owned Program Among the Best in the Nation

Infiniti has certainly carved out a name for itself as Nissan’s luxury division. Their accolades are reserved just for their new vehicles, however. Infiniti’s Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program is consistently ranked among the top ten in the country, and for good reason. This comprehensive program ensures that buyers of used Infiniti vehicles get only the best of the best.

Any used Infiniti must meet strict standards in order to earn the CPO rating through this program. The used car must be less than four years old and have fewer than 60,000 miles under its belt. A rigorous inspection of the vehicle is also required for certification, including a thorough check of physical features like the paint condition, chassis, suspension, and powertrain components and a road test. In essence, Infiniti only lets used vehicles in excellent condition into their CPO program.

Beyond the car’s physical condition, many drivers look for CPO cars for their warranty and roadside assistance. Infiniti offers excellent service in both of these areas. All Infiniti CPO vehicles come with an extended warranty for 72 months or 100,000 miles. Infiniti-trained technicians complete any necessary service with a minimal deductible to the owner. Furthermore, owners get roadside assistance and complimentary towing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Infiniti Essence Couples Style With Efficiency

Luxury brands have been slow to stake their claim in the hybrid/electric realm of the auto industry. Unlike the rest, however, Infiniti has continued to keep up with the latest trend and set the bar high for other luxury automakers. Their Infiniti Essence concept is just one example of the luxury brand’s finesse when it comes to combining power and style with technology.

The Essence, which was first previewed in 2009 at the Geneva Motor Show, is a gas and electric hybrid luxury coupe. From the outside, this sleek vehicle has all the curve and high-end design expected of a luxury vehicle. Inside, it’s no different – everything from the ergonomic cabin to the elegant, minimalist design speaks to a luxury car driver’s desires. Technological features speak to both entertainment and safety needs of the driver, such as a Side Collision Prevention (SCP), which warns drivers of vehicles in his or her blind spot.

Most luxury brands have been wary of approaching hybrid technology. Not Infiniti – this luxury automaker has found a way to combine hybrid efficiency with the power of a 592-horsepower engine. The V6 and the electric motor feed their power to the rear wheels to get the most out of this hybrid technology, ensuring that drivers won’t have to sacrifice power for eco-friendliness.

Though the Infiniti Essence is just a concept car, the luxury brand has several hybrid and electric models in store. Come in to Parkway Infiniti today to check out our selection of Infiniti vehicles. Infiniti Plans to Go All-Hybrid By 2020!

There’s been plenty of coverage on the Nissan Leaf, the much-anticipated vehicle which is the first in a line of eight electric cars from the automaker. However, Nissan’s luxury brand, Infiniti, has something up its sleeve as well. Over the next few years, Infiniti will release several eco-friendly hybrid models, making them the first luxury brand to truly commit to the new environmentally conscious trend.

Infiniti lovers can relax – nothing will be lost as far as power and style with these new hybrids and electrics. In fact, Infiniti has taken steps to ensure that the luxury driving experience is upheld in each of these new models. For instance, the hybrid gas-electric Infiniti M35 (scheduled for release in 2011) will feature the same 3.5-liter V6 as the non-hybrid M35, plus a 68-horsepower electric motor and hybrid drive system. The result is a more efficient vehicle which can still perform and drive like a luxury car. Experts predict that the new hybrid will cost less than $5,000 more than the conventional M35, and will likely qualify for a $1,000 tax incentive as well.

Infiniti also has a concept car called the Essence, which signaled the company’s commitment to make all Infiniti models into hybrids by 2020. The next car on deck after the M35 hybrid is an unnamed all-electric small hatchback which is slated for release in 2014. Infiniti has become a leader in luxury hybrids, and looks to stay on top of that market for several years to come.

With a closer look at Infiniti’s latest release, there’s no doubt that this vehicle is bound to become a big-seller.

As is the case with Infiniti vehicles, every detail is fine-tuned to luxurious perfection, and the interior appearance of this vehicle is no exception. The Infiniti M37 Beats Out BMW and Audi!

Anyone can argue that BMW and Audi have been top luxury automakers for years. Two of the crown jewels of these manufacturers – the BMW 535 and the Audi A6 – are undoubtedly magnificent cars. What may surprise many, however, is that the newest model to compete with these vehicles is actually from Infiniti. In fact, Car and Driver recently gave a rave review of the Infiniti M37 in comparison to both the 535 and the A6. This exciting new report shows that the M37 came amazingly close to, and occasionally even beat out, the 535 and the A6 in several categories.

Car and Driver noted the following highlights about the Infiniti M37 in their review:

  • Excellent noise control
  • Superior roll control, reliable in all driving conditions
  • Extremely elegant styling, especially in the cockpit
  • Outperformed both cars in 0-100 acceleration
  • Top speed of 157 mph
  • Horsepower exceeding that of both other cars

In addition to all of these great features, the Infiniti M37 also boasts the lowest starting price of the three vehicles tested. Comfort and style were also both especially impressive in comparison to the 535 and A6. All of these elements combined make the M37 a great vehicle for drivers who want a luxury vehicle that will stand out from the crowd while still competing with the best of the best.

As Smaller Cars Thrive, Infiniti Talks of Releasing a New Sedan

We all want to save money, and for many of us, a smaller car is a great way to be thrifty in our everyday lives. With less bulk to our vehicles, we save on gas and limit our effects on the environment. Auto makers are catching on to this trend, which is really taking off in the U.S., and as a result we have a delightful array of new, smaller vehicles coming our way in the next few years.

Infiniti has responded to the demand for smaller, efficient cars with rumors of a new small sedan. The proposed vehicle could allow Infiniti to compete in the small sedan market, which is especially critical considering Nissan (the automaker’s parent company) isn’t interested in released such a vehicle for at least three years. Similarly, Infiniti may also be planning to release a small SUV to compete with similar luxury sedans of a larger variety offered by BMW and Lexus.

The design, technology and features of the vehicles have yet to be released; as of right now, these proposals are simply rumored and discussed vaguely by Nissan and Infiniti executives. Add the Parkway Motorcars blog to your RSS feed to stay-to-date with the latest news on Infiniti’s proposed vehicles.

Infiniti Goes Green!

Hybrids, electric cars and fuel efficiency are a hot trend in the auto industry right now. Dozens of green cars have already been released, and Nissan has even announced eight all-electric vehicles to be unveiled over the next five years. However, there haven’t been any definite plans for an electric vehicle from Infiniti, Nissan’s luxury line.

Fortunately, there have been rumors about an electric Infiniti hatchback which could solve the dilemma for luxury car drivers who want a greener option. Top Gear seemed confirmed these rumors a few months ago, saying the electric hatchback may be released in 2014. The hatchback will accommodate the smaller size needed for a battery-run car while also appealing to a larger market.

Infiniti has already made some steps towards a greener car, however. The Infiniti M35 Hybrid was first displayed in March of this year. While Nissan has generally favored an all-electric car as an environmental solution, the M35 Hybrid was created in response to drivers who still want the same power and comfort offered by a larger luxury vehicle. It looks as though hybrids will likely be a common offering from Infiniti and other luxury brands over the coming years since an electric vehicle generally can’t offer the size and power drivers expect from a luxury car.

Infiniti QX56 Brings Boldness, Edge, and Luxury to Valencia

The all-new 2011 Infiniti ZX56 hasn’t been on the market that long, and it’s already turned a lot of heads and earned plenty of praise. And for good reason. This commanding full-size SUV, brings power, prestige, and hip luxury to driving in a way that no other vehicle on the road can touch.

Nationally, sales statistics show that the ’11 QX56 brings luxury to a significantly younger crowd: average owners are 45 years old, whereas luxury owners in general are, on average, 52. Stylish, luxury, SUV? This is vehicle for families who like a little edge with their sophistication, and prefer to have room for 8 (and plenty of cargo).
